Clinical Lead / Care Manager I am a nurse with my experience based in the accident and emergency department as well as spending time in Intensive Care. I have worked in the NHS and a private facility in Saudi Arabia giving me experience of different health emergencies and cultures. I Joined ENA continuing to want to work with people from an array of backgrounds, advocating where needed and supporting them with independent living.
Sarah Registered Care Manager I joined ENA as Registered Care Manager in June 2017 and as soon as I walked into the office, I could feel the warmth from all the staff which was very welcoming. Previously, I spent a year at Bluebird Care and prior to that, I had spent eight years as a Home Services Manager at Age UK. Before Age UK, I spent eleven years in a Nursing Home doing various roles. I have a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s services – Adults Management. I also hold my City and Guilds in End of life Care. I have worked in care since leaving school in 1994 and whilst still at school I worked in care at the weekend. I have always had a real passion for caring for others.
Elise Care Co-ordinator I joined ENA in 2012 as a carer so I have hands on experience and really understand the role. I then progressed to being an On-Call carer, going into emergency placements and establishing new packages. In 2014 I left the company only to return in 2015 as a Care Co-ordinator. I’m very passionate about care, and have trained to be a dementia friend champion.
Phyllis Care Co-ordinator I took a gap year from my studies and joined ENA in August 2014 as a carer. I then became an on call and attended various emergency placements as well as helped with domiciliary calls. I was approached to help support in the office when one of the care team were off travelling for 3 months. It was a big change and a great opportunity for myself which I am grateful for. I was offered a permanent role as care coordinator in April 2016.
Business Development & Operations
I started out here at ENA in the accounts department and quickly discovered that I am not very good at Maths. Fortunately I had the opportunity to move over to the Training department which is definitely more my thing. I really enjoy training enthusiastic carers and helping them develop during the initial week and whilst in placement. Being a Trainer also allows me to visit our Carers and Clients giving me the opportunity to get to know them, allowing me to refine and make carers learning bespoke to their needs. Outside of the workplace I compete in the sport of fitness and trying to get my 2 year old to bed at the right time.
I joined the ENA care group in March 2016 as a trainer. My background involved working in a respite unit supporting young adults and children with complex health needs. I found the role extremely satisfying and rewarding so occasionally I like to go back and visit.
I was introduced to the idea of live-in care from the age of 7 when my mum brought a family friend into our home to care for after she had had a bad fall. I would help by feeding her in the mornings. Growing up with my parents it has been 2nd nature to look after others including my 6 younger siblings. My professional career in care started in 2009 when I was the first carer for Elisa Nursing Domiciliary Care. I then went on to help out in the Recruitment team at the ENA Care Group on a part time basis. I have been a permanent part of the team since April 2012 and love being able to meet potential new carers and get to know new people.
I have worked in HR at the ENA Care Group for many years and I’m very fortunate that I love the job that I do. Each week is unique as I deal with such a variety of people. I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing someone going from ‘Applicant’ to ‘Trainee’ and then on to being a Care Assistant. I really enjoy supporting our care assistants on this journey and keeping in touch with them when they are in work. It is important to me that we get to know our trainees very much as an individual before placing them in a job that is right, both for them and for their client.
Recruitment and Marketing
I joined ENA in July 2016, after a number of years working in the healthcare industry as a recruiter. I wanted to stay in the industry as I enjoy helping those looking for work, finding it in a role that is rewarding. I enjoy recruitment as I am speaking to and getting to know new people on a daily basis, helping them to fulfil their passion.
I joined ENA in February 2017 as a Recruitment Assistant, with my previous experience being sales based. Being here I have learnt so many valuable things, things that I will use in all aspects of life. I chose to work within the care industry as I wanted to make a difference to peoples’ lives, and working at ENA there is no better place to do so. Being able to speak to different people on a daily basis is something that I love, and I am very thankful to have the chance to do that as a career. Away from work if you look on any football pitch around the local area, there is a high chance I will be at one of them.
HR and Marketing Advisor
I have been working with the ENA Care Group for over 2 years now. My work experience mostly comes from working with people in the community. What I enjoy most about working in HR is coming into contact with those that really want to give up time to care for those wanting to get the most out of life. Assisting in Marketing also allows me to get to know more about our carers.
I have done short-term care work for the ENA Care Group since 2011 and became a member of the office staff in 2012. Mostly, one of the things I really enjoy about working within ENA is the opportunity to work closely with its clients and carers forming new ways of improving the company’s communications for them. I have met some fascinating and inspirational individuals who drive me to improve within my role.
Co-founder and owner of the company. Active director overseeing the service delivered to clients and carers.
I am back since 23rd March 2012, after taking a ridiculously long maternity break. I jump at any opportunity to get back into uniform and brush up on my nurse skills. My role in the company is all about the service we deliver to both our clients and carers. I have a dream to become the best home care provider in the UK and I spend most of my time troubleshooting and searching for ways to improve. My favourite part of my job is visiting and speaking to clients & carers. If you would like a visit or a call, please drop me an email.
