Live-In

What is live-in care?

Live-in care can provide full-time 24 hour care from highly trained carers who live-in and are able to assist with activities of daily living. A live-in carer is able to provide 6-8 hours of care over 24 hours. If constant 24-hour care is required, we are able to provide more live-in carers who can rotate shifts to cover throughout the day and night. This includes manual handling, mobility assistance, accompaniment to social and recreational activities and personal care, enabling you to remain in the comfort of your own home and fulfil every aspect of your lifestyle.

Hourly Care

What is Hourly Care?
Hourly care, also known as domiciliary care, is a service for individuals who are able to live independently but may require extra assistance with household duties or require periods of companionship and help with preparing meals. The Elisa Nursing Care department provide live-out care throughout Hertfordshire and can provide carers for any short period of time as many times during the week as you may need.

Short Term

What is Short Term care?
Short term care (Respite care) is the provision of a relief carer often needed to fill in-between a usual care giver, taking a break or leaving on a short excursion. This may include relieving a relative or friend who usually provides care but for whatever reason may need additional assistance or somebody to take on this carer role for a short amount of time until they are able to resume their care duties again.

Fast Response

Within all of the care services we provide we include our Fast Response service. From our experience of providing care for the past 20 years, we are aware that sometimes for whatever reason, the provision of care may need to change with immediate effect or that an accident or emergency may arise that needs the response from our emergency stand-by carers. Each of our services includes a 24-hour on-call phone line that will put you in contact with a Care Co-ordinator who will be able to address an emergency instantly. We also have stand-by carers on-call who are able to arrive at a clients home within a short space of time to assist any circumstance so that you know that you are in safe hands at whatever time of the day or night.

Specialist Care

We have been providing care to a wide spectrum of individuals with varied specialist requirements and needs. We take the time to listen to each individual and develop a care plan around their needs and what they require from a carer and service provider in order to remain as independent as they please. From working alongside these individuals for the past 20 years and developing great relationships with them, we have taken on board and developed ideas from those that really know about care and what a care service should provide – our clients. As a company we are continually developing our training and services to improve and innovate the services we offer to individuals. This is apparent in the care options we provide, the caring attitude of our staff and the feedback we receive from our current clients. Read what our clients have said about us.
