Social Care Commitment Week
“The Social Care Commitment is a promise made by people working in care to give the best care and support possible. Organisations sign up first, then they encourage their staff to do the same. This way everyone is working towards delivering high quality care. ”
This week is social care commitment week where we raise awareness of raising the standards of social care in the UK. This organisation provides helpful tools to help employers and employees understand how to improve social care as well as providing their own statements of which you need to agree to in order to commit to the social care commitment. It is made up of seven ‘I will’ statements, with associated tasks to these statements. Each commitment focuses on the minimum standards required when working in care. The commitment aims to increase public confidence in the care sector and raise workforce quality in adult social care.
We’re proud to be a part of this commitment and each week our new trainees sign the social care commitment too. We show the logo on our site to show how we’re committed to continue to improve our standards of care beyond those expected and regulated by the CQC. High quality, safe, reliable and professional care is our utmost priority. Here’s a photo of our Head Office Team showing their support for the social care commitment week and we look forward to seeing other organisations getting involved too.
