Updates for Staff in relation to COVID-19
Firstly, I would like to thank all of our staff and clients at this challenging time, your resilience and cooperation are truly humbling and I thank you.
I ask, that all carers remain safe and secure in the client’s home and self-isolate. Please only make trips that are essential, purchasing food shopping, collecting medication, daily exercise (once daily) or a medical emergency.
Based upon updated government advice on 15th June 2020, live-in care professionals are now clearly able to self-isolate in our clients home for the first 14-days of placement. We ask that you ensure you wear a IIR Fluid Repellent facemask for the first 14-days of placement. Please see the ENA PPE Guidance Guidance here.
Client visits remain postponed to protect both you, our carers, and our clients.
Any further client visits and supervisions that were falling due within the upcoming twelve weeks will be scheduled to take place digitally, where possible.
The office remains physically closed, but will remain open virtually.
We will publish further updates, however, in the meantime, if you have any concerns or questions, please contact the care team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
