Updates for Staff in relation to COVID-19
Firstly, I would like to thank all of our staff and clients at this challenging time, your resilience and cooperation are truly humbling and I thank you.
I ask, that all carers remain safe and secure in the client’s home and self-isolate. Please only make trips that are essential, purchasing food shopping, collecting medication, daily exercise (once daily) or a medical emergency.
Personal Protective Equipment such as facemasks, gloves and aprons have been issued; where required. I stress that health guidance and the company policy is that facemasks are only to be worn if you, the carer, or the client display symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The mask only needs to be worn by the person displaying symptoms.
For now, I have made the difficult decision to postpone all client visits to protect both you, our carers, and our clients.
Any client visits and supervisions that were falling due within the upcoming twelve weeks will be scheduled to take place digitally, where possible.
The office will be physically closed for a period of two weeks from Monday 30th March and re-open on Tuesday 14th April; but will remain open virtually.
We will publish further updates, however, in the meantime, if you have any concerns or questions, please contact the care team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
