What is hourly care?

Hourly care – also known as domiciliary care – provides you with a care assistant who visits you at home, supporting your daily needs and enabling you to maintain your independence.

With a little extra help, you can continue to stay living in your own home, following your familiar routine and doing the things you enjoy.

Hourly care is generally provided for a minimum of 30 minutes up to an hour at a time, with your carer able to stay with you for as many hours as you need. One carer can arrive as another leaves if required and your carer will visit you as many times as you choose, daily or weekly.

Why choose an hourly carer from ENA Care Group?

We’ve been providing hourly care assistants since 2009, so we understand exactly what is required of a domiciliary carer.

We know how important it is to live independently at home with domiciliary care in place to support you to make your own choices in life – a key value upon which the ENA Care Group was founded.

With our extensive experience in providing hourly care, you’ll truly notice the difference in the professional support and care options we offer, the caring attitude and extra support provided by our staff.

As your hourly care visits will often help to assist with tasks such as washing, dressing and taking medication, we know that reliability and consistency is essential and that you depend on your care visits to continue living safely at home.

If you opt for our hourly care service we guarantee you’ll receive:

What are the benefits of hourly care?

Visits from an hourly carer help you to maintain your independence and enable you to continue making your own choices in life.

A domiciliary carer will help you with household tasks, meal preparation and cleaning, whilst providing companionship and support when you need it.

We take pride in our hourly care service, which was inspired by our live in care service. We guarantee we offer a reliable, professional and dependable hourly care service.

“The ENA hourly carers go above and beyond to help Dad out. They really do care about him and I appreciate all their hard work. It’s a huge relief knowing I can rely on their carers”

— Ms M, Hertfordshire

“I feel safe cared for by the ENA staff. I have never had any concerns about being exploited or being in any way at harm. I happily let my domiciliary carer walk around my home with no concerns, they are like family.”

1Highly trained care assistants

We hold high expectations of our hourly carers, which must be met before any carer joins our team. We have key criteria such as value-based interviewing which allows us to check that the quality of a candidate meets our high standards.

Hourly carers must pass our rigorous recruitment process and undergo thorough background checks and on the job supervision.

2Guaranteed care cover

Our 24/7 care helpline is in place to support our clients and carers outside of office hours. The service means our qualified care team can be called on at short notice, ensuring your care is covered if an emergency should arise.

3Expert care and advice

Our team has a combined experience of over thirty years in the domiciliary care industry. We are experienced in managing your care needs, working with other health professionals such as social workers, GPs and therapists to support the delivery of the best possible health outcomes.
