Why choose a Parkinson’s carer from ENA Care Group?
We have been providing specialist live in care since 1994. With our extensive experience in providing Parkinson’s care, you’ll notice a real difference in the professional support we offer.
Support from a trained Parkinson’s home care assistant and a qualified healthcare professional means that you and your family do not face the onset of Parkinson’s alone.
We have extensive experience in training our care assistants, equipping them with the key skills necessary to provide Parkinson’s care within your own home. Each of our Parkinson’s home care assistants must pass our rigorous training course in addition to our security and safeguarding checks.
Everyone is different and many people often forget that Parkinson’s care, in particular, demands emotional as well as practical support. This is particularly the case when dealing with the new challenges and symptoms of Parkinson’s as they present themselves.
We invest substantially in the quality of our carer training, with our training assessment covering everything a Parkinson’s care assistant needs to know. This ensures our care assistants are equipped – both emotionally and practically – to support adults within their own homes.
Our care assistants are also assessed by an external driving company during their first week of training to ensure a good standard.
They also commit to 2-12 weeks per placement to promote continuity in your routine and lifestyle. We pride ourselves on our highly trained members of staff and care assistants to work as a team to bring you and your family the support you need.
A full-time Parkinson’s care assistant can be as financially viable as residential care or a nursing home.
