Short term care, also known as respite care, can aid the transition from hospital back to the comfort of your own home. This usually includes the provision of a relief carer for a short one-off period of time. Respite care helps someone get back on their feet after a major injury. It supports individuals undergoing severe treatment or those who need palliative care.

Our respite carers have been trained in-house and have been through all the necessary background checks required of all our live-in carers. Respite carers are able to cover specialist care needs from personal care to manual handling.

Our fast response service is included in our Respite Care Service. As a result, you can get through to an on-call co-ordinator should anything unforeseen occur. In addition, our on-call carers can provide care at a moments notice. Consequently meaning our short-term care services run as smoothly and as reliably as our long-term live-in services.

You moved heaven and earth to provide live-in care for Mum from the day of discharge, which was so important for us. Our care assistant was a godsend. She struck just the right note with Mum, providing gentle, considerate care. She always treated Mum with respect and dignity. This all meant so much to us.
