My name is Catherine and I joined ENA Care Group as recruitment manager in April 2020. My career began in retail many years ago, where I worked my way up to management level before deciding it was time for a career change. I love working with people, being part of a motivated team, and building relationships with those around me. For me, the recruitment process is hugely important to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported throughout their journey from candidate to carer, and I’m excited to play my part in that. In my spare time, I love cooking and entertaining with my husband, I’m often referred to as the hostess in my group of friends and love nothing more than gathering everyone together in our house for a fun games night.

I have worked in HR for the ENA Care Group for many years and I’m very fortunate that I love the job I do. Each week is unique as I deal with such a variety of people. I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing someone go from applicant to trainee and then on to being a care assistant. I really enjoy supporting our care assistants on this journey and keeping in touch with them when they are in work. It is important to me that we get to know our trainees very much as an individual before placing them in a job that is right, both for them and for their client.

I recently joined ENA Care group as a recruiter in August 2021. After completing my marketing degree, my career started in sales where I worked with the mission of the
company in mind and served as a dedicated, resilient and enthusiastic member of the team; I plan to bring these qualities into my new role. In my spare time I’m a social media manager, where I create and manage content for clients. When I’m not finding new ways to tap into the latest internet trends, you’ll find me exploring art galleries and trying new restaurants. I am excited to grow alongside ENA and I’m looking forward to seeing where my recruitment journey takes me.

Onboarding & Scheduling Manager

I joined ENA Care Group in May 2021 and this is my first introduction into the care sector. My previous experience is within the aviation industry having spent the last 20 years with an airline, beginning my career in the contact centre before moving to recruitment and training of contact centre agents. I then was given an opportunity to move to the recruitment function selecting cabin crew for the airline before looking after the end to end selection of cabin managers. I have been appointed into the role of Onboarding and Scheduling Manager within ENA and this position will support the organisation in the recruitment of new carers through to scheduling them with a suitable client.

I am enjoying the friendly atmosphere and the family feeling that comes across from working within the team. The organisation is very forward thinking and looks constantly at methods to improve the ways of working to ensure the best quality of care is provided to clients with the outstanding work given by carers here at ENA.
