ENA Hourly Care rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission

ENA Hourly Care has been rated ‘Good’ following its recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission in May 2019.

The rating forms part of the hard work that the team have been applying over the past two years to improve the quality of domiciliary care in Hertfordshire.

The announced inspection took place on Tuesday 7th May 2019 and was followed up with impartial phone calls to staff, service users and their family members who had an interaction with the service.

The report concluded that:

“The management team was committed to providing a high standard of care to the people they supported as well as the staff team and understood their responsibilities under the Duty of Candour. People, their relatives and staff members spoke highly of the registered manager and told us that they were always available and supportive.”

Furthermore:

“People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice. People and their relatives praised the kind and caring nature of the staff.”
