Unique expertise and experience

Unique expertise and experience

ENA has been providing live-in care since 1994 and in that time we have developed established ways of working to meet our clients’ needs. Our senior leadership team have a combined experience of over 70 years in the industry, making sure that our clients remain at the heart of what we do.

Our team is both caring and compassionate. We take a considerable amount of time to understand you or your loved one’s needs, and understand that live-in care is extremely personal and pivotal in enabling individuals to live as independently as possible.

A high standard of carers

A high standard of carers

We understand relationships are a focal part of our business and that’s why we invest considerable time in getting to know all of the people we employ. All of our care staff must undergo a rigorous recruitment process to enable them to meet our high-quality care values. ENA carers have background checks, in-depth interviews, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and also go through an intensive one-week residential training and assessment course, followed by compulsory distance-learning annually.

Carers have their skills updated yearly, and often undertake update training to enable them to meet the broad needs our clients have. We never make use of agency staff which means we have firm control over the quality of our care delivery.

All of our care staff are employed by us directly and we profile their experience, likes and personality in order to gain a clearer understanding when matching them with our clients. Our carers are also led by a care team of qualified professionals who have dedicated their careers to professionally caring for people.

People focused

People focused

We are small enough to keep our family ethos of knowing our clients and carers on a personal level. Every client has a named case manager to talk to about their care, wishes and goals, who is able to visit them at home upon their request. We constantly strive to deliver a high-quality service that reflects our family values since the company was established in 1994.

Founded to help a family friend return home from hospital, we understand the importance of helping people to continue to live at home as they wish. With over 25 years of experience, our nurse-led team will go above and beyond to focus on the details involved in establishing care that is unique to you or your loved ones.

Choice and control

The right to exercise choice and control

At ENA, we believe in promoting choice and control in every aspect of our clients’ lives, including over the type of care received. We offer different models of care that offer varying levels of suitability for each client and their care budget.

We have also invested heavily in digital technology to enable you to have greater transparency and control over your care, and for loved ones to be kept appraised of changing needs.
